Netflix Rajai Nominasi Golden Globe Awards 2021

VIVA – Deretan daftar nominasi ajang bergengsi televisi dan film, Golden Globe Awards ke-78 diumumkan pada Rabu 3 Februari 2021 waktu Amerika Serikat. Sejumlah nama dalam nominasi pun kini menjadi sorotan dan perbincangan publik film sejagat.

Nominasi tahun ini adalah gabungan dari sejumlah produksi lama dan baru. Selain itu, deretan nominator kali ini tak lain merupakan tayangan yang jadi tonton wajib pemirsa di rumah saat karantina pandemi COVID-19.

Netflix memimpin dalam nominasi televisi dan film, termasuk drama "Mank," yang dipimpin dengan 6 raihan daftar nominasi. Diikuti oleh "The Trial of the Chicago 7" dengan masuk dalam 5 nominasi.

Di kategori televisi, drama kerajaan Netflix "The Crown" memimpin dengan 6 nominasi, diikuti oleh acara penghargaan tahun lalu, komedi "Schitt's Creek," dengan 5 nominasi.

Chadwick Boseman, yang meninggal dunia tahun lalu pada usia 43 tahun setelah berjuang melawan penyakit kanker usus besar, menerima nominasi anumerta untuk perannya dalam film Netflix "Ma Rainey's Black Bottom."

Tina Fey dan Amy Poehler akan kembali menjadi host ajang bergengsi ini untuk keempat kalinya. Malam penganugerahan Golden Globes Awards akan berlangsung secara virtual pada hari Minggu 28 Februari 2021 waktu Amerika Serikat di NBC.

Pionir TV, Norman Lear akan menerima Penghargaan Carol Burnett atas pencapaian seumur hidupnya dan aktris/aktivis Jane Fonda akan menerima Penghargaan Cecil B. deMille untuk kontribusinya yang luar biasa pada industri.
