Akun Instagram Ini Pamerkan Makanan dari Seluruh Dunia

VIVA.co.id – Melakukan perjalanan keliling dunia, tak lengkap rasanya jika tidak mencicipi kuliner khas negara yang didatangi.

Hal ini, ternyata dilakukan oleh Melissa Hie seorang pemilik akun Instagram dan blog yang diberi nama Girl Eat World. Yang unik dari akun miliknya adalah ia menampilkan berbagai makanan yang ia makan selama berkeliling dunia.

Dilansir dari Bored Panda, Hie memulai perjalanannya pada 2009 ke Singapura. Pada 2010, ia semakin ketagihan berpetualang setelah melakukan perjalanan ke Thailand.

Hie mengaku bahwa ia mulai melakukan perjalanan seorang diri saat berlibur ke Eropa. Saat itu, ia mencoba berbagai makanan dari setiap negara yang ia kunjungi seperti Jerman, Austria, Republik Ceko, Belanda, dan Belgia.

"Aku pertama kali melakukan perjalanan seorang diri saat berlibur ke Eropa. Aku mencicipi berbagai makanan lezat di negara-negara yang aku kunjungi," kata Hie.

Karena tak memiliki teman untuk berbagi kelezatan tersebut, Hie memutuskan untuk mengambil gambar tersebut dengan latar tempat di Eropa. Di saat itulah akun Girl Eat World dibuat.

Menariknya lagi, beberapa waktu lalu Hie juga sempat bertandang ke Indonesia. Di akun Instagramnya, ia memajang foto pisang goreng keju cokelat.

Foto makanan itu ia tampilkan dengan latar belakangan keindahan Gunung Rinjani di Pulau Lombok.

???????? Hanami dango amidst sakura blooms in Arashiyama, Kyoto. There are Sakura everywhere in Japan right now! ???????? I have always wanted to eat Hanami Dango myself and finally got the chance to do so yesterday. This rice cake snack is so important to japanese culture that there is even an emoji for it ->???? It's sakura season right now in Japan, which marks the beginning of Spring. Since sakura season only lasts about a month (usually April), it became an important tradition to go to the nearest park with picnic mats and some packed food for sakura viewing - also known as Hanami. Hanami ?? means "watching flowers" (hana ? = flowers; mi ? = eyes / to watch) and Dango means "dumplings / rice cake". Japanese eats dango as snack all-year round, but this variation with pink, white and green is traditionally eaten during Hanami season. Teh Kotak at Pianemo view point in Raja Ampat, West Papua ????????. I am Indonesian and grew up drinking this boxed teh melati / jasmine tea. The sweetness is perfectly tailored to indonesian taste buds! (though i remember the box being much smaller back then ????) When you google Raja Ampat, this is the image you will get. Pianemo is a cluster of coral islands that appears colorful from above due to the varying depth of water. The lighter part you see is the shallow part with white sand bottom, giving it that vibrant turquoise color. To get up to the hill for this view is pretty easy since they have built wooden ladders and a balcony view point, but it can be a bit steep for those who aren't fit. The weather gets very hot out there in the afternoon and you will be sweating a bucket by the time you get on top. It got so hot that some of us jumped straight into the water after!

Day 3 with ????@tanadewa_villas????: It's been SUPER hot in bali so we spent the morning chilling in our villa's private pool ???????? with a cold can of local beer Bintang ????????, followed by more balinese massage (yes, massage everyday!!) before heading out to the airport and back to Singapore.
