Indonesian Police Deploy Two Air Ambulances for 2025 Eid Homecoming Traffic

Jakarta, VIVA – The Air Police Directorate of the Security Maintenance Agency has deployed air ambulances to anticipate emergencies during the 2025 Eid homecoming period.
These air ambulances will be stationed at Kilometer 29 of the Kalikangkung Toll Road.
"We're optimistic that these air ambulances will help ensure the smooth execution of Operation Ketupat 2025, providing a safe and comfortable homecoming for families," said Commissioner Agus Herli Sudiawan, Head of the Air Police Sub-Task Force, in a statement on Tuesday (March 25).
According to Sudiawan, two air ambulances have been deployed, supported by a team of nine personnel from the Medical and Health Department and the Air Police team.
This team includes two medical staff, two search and rescue teams, and five helicopter crew members.

The air ambulances will be on standby along the homecoming route until April 8, 2025. In case of an emergency, they will be able to transport one patient along with one paramedic.
"The designated evacuation points for the air ambulances include eight hospitals in Central Java, nine hospitals in Greater Jakarta (Jabodetabek) with helipads, and nine regional hospitals along the northern coastal route (Pantura)," Sudiawan added.
Each air ambulance will be equipped with one ventilator, three oxygen cylinders, a monitor and defibrillator, syringe pump, infusion pump, suction pump, portable stretcher, and portable oxygen.
