Kadin Committed to Supporting Communities through Affordable Markets

Bekasi, VIVA – The Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin) held a Low-Cost Market Operation at the Pondok Gede District Office in Bekasi on Saturday (March 22). The event was an initiative by Kadin, the National Food Agency, and the Bekasi City Government.
The market featured a wide range of essential food items at affordable prices, including rice, cooking oil, eggs, flour, chilies, onions, and various fruits. Residents showed great enthusiasm as they arrived and shopped for necessities.

Kadin Chairman Anindya Novyan Bakrie emphasized the organization’s commitment to contributing more to society, with the Low-Cost Market Operation being one of its initiatives.
"We believe that government leaders understand the importance of enabling market players to drive the economy, ensuring industries thrive while, most importantly, benefiting the public. This initiative is one of the ways Kadin is making a difference," Bakrie stated.
He also expressed his hope that Kadin, as mandated by law, would continue to support all sectors of business, including MSMEs, cooperatives, and state-owned enterprises.
