Jakarta, VIVA – A total of 37 airports under the management of Angkasa Pura Indonesia, also known as InJourney Airports, will operate 24 hours a day during the 2025 Eid homecoming period.
“We're preparing all airports to be operational 24/7 so that our airline partners can fully maximize their operations,” said InJourney Airports CEO Faik Fahmi on Thursday (March 20).
This round-the-clock operation marks a significant increase, as some airports typically operate only 9 to 12 hours a day outside the Eid travel season.

By extending operational hours, both airport operators and airlines can increase the number of daily flights to accommodate the surge in passengers.
“All airports will shift from their usual 9-hour operation to a full 24-hour schedule. This allows us to anticipate various situations, from normal conditions to unexpected factors such as weather disruptions, flight delays, and administrative needs,” Fahmi explained.
Meanwhile, General Manager of Angkasa Pura Indonesia at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, Dwi Anamda Wicaksana, confirmed that Soetta Airport will continue its 24-hour operations, with supporting services adapting accordingly.
“For instance, the skytrain service will operate for 18 hours, aligning with the airport train’s schedule. If the airport train extends its hours to 24/7, we will adjust accordingly,” he added.
