Jakarta, VIVA – The Head of the Nusantara Capital Authority (OIKN), Basuki Hadimuljono, welcomed the official launch of the Danantara Investment Management Agency.
The fund is expected to play a significant role in the development of Indonesia’s new capital city (IKN) in East Kalimantan.
"From what I’ve read, Danantara is designed to invest dividends from various assets. I hope that some of these funds can be allocated for IKN’s development," Hadimuljono said on Monday (Feb 24).
He expressed optimism that Danantara’s programs would contribute to advancing IKN’s infrastructure and economic progress.
"Hopefully, IKN will also benefit from Danantara’s initiatives. That’s my hope," he added.
