Jakarta, VIVA – Chairman of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin), Anindya Bakrie, believes that the Investment Management Agency Daya Anagata Nusantara (BPI Danantara) has the potential to drive investment, trade, and Indonesia’s economic growth.
Bakrie expressed Kadin Indonesia’s full support for Danantara, which was officially launched by President Prabowo Subianto.
"We are confident that Danantara, which means 'the future strength of Nusantara,' will drive investment, trade, and the economy, ultimately leading to the prosperity of the Indonesian people," Bakrie stated on his Instagram account @anindyabakrie, Monday (Feb 24).
He emphasized that Kadin supports Danantara because of its large-scale asset management, overseeing state-owned enterprise (BUMN) assets worth up to USD 900 billion or IDR 14,000 trillion.

"We @kadin.indonesia.official support Danantara because, first, of its massive scale. With assets under management reaching USD 900 billion (approximately IDR 14,000 trillion) and an initial investment of USD 20 billion or IDR 325.8 trillion, Danantara is set to be globally competitive," he remarked.
Bakrie also pointed out that Danantara is structured as a fund management entity, ensuring professionalism and the recruitment of top talent in the industry.
"This professional management will ensure strategic decision-making in selecting investments that offer the greatest benefits for Indonesia," he stated.
Moreover, Bakrie highlighted Danantara's flexibility in establishing collaborations with both domestic and international companies.
"Such collaborations are expected to generate effective strategies and successful implementations," he concluded.
