Satryo clarified that the large-scale reassignment occurred due to the restructuring of ministries, which were split into three separate entities during President Prabowo’s administration.

Satryo will be replaced by ITB Professor Brian Yuliarto, who was inaugurated by President Prabowo Subianto on Wednesday (Feb 19).

The inauguration of Brian Yuliarto was based on Presidential Decree No. XXVIP of 2025 concerning the dismissal and appointment of state ministers for the 2024–2029 Red and White Cabinet period.

Prabowo personally conducted the swearing-in ceremony, leading Brian Yuliarto in reciting the oath of office.

The oath reads:

"I solemnly swear that I will remain faithful to the Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia of 1945 and will carry out all laws and regulations to the best of my ability, in service to the nation and the state. I pledge to uphold the ethics of my position, work diligently, and act with full responsibility."
