Jakarta, VIVA – President Prabowo Subianto urged stakeholders in the aviation industry to lower airfare prices.
“Airfare prices should come down, and they must continue to decrease if possible, if possible,” the president said on Saturday (Feb 15).
He also called on the Minister of Religious Affairs and the Hajj Organizing Agency (BP Haji) to reduce the cost of Hajj travel for Indonesian citizens.
“Hajj costs must come down,” he stated.
He then searched for and addressed the Minister of Religious Affairs and the Hajj Organizing Agency (BP Haji), urging them to lower the costs of Hajj travel.

“Is the Minister of Religious Affairs here? What about the Hajj Agency? If possible, let’s bring the Hajj travel costs down again,” he said.
The directive to lower airfare prices and Hajj travel costs stems from Prabowo’s desire to be a president who reduces prices rather than increases them.
“I want to be a president who brings prices down. The only prices that should go up are the prices of harvested rice for farmers. That must increase,” President Prabowo explained.
For context, today the Gerindra Party is celebrating its 17th anniversary. The celebration is being held at the Sentul International Convention Center, Bogor, West Java.
