Jakarta, VIVA – It looks like the first iPhone for the year 2025 may arrive sooner than expected. According to a report by Bloomberg, Apple is gearing up to unveil the new iPhone SE as soon as next week.
The previous-generation iPhone SE was launched in 2022 and is due for a much-needed makeover, as quoted from money control site.
A key selling point for the iPhone SE 4 will be — or always has been — is the price. This is expected to cost US$499 or around IDR 8,1 juta.
Regarding the feature, the iPhone SE 4 is going to look different from its predecessors. It’s expected to have a full-screen display that’s about 6.1 inches.
That means no more bezels or home button. Apple is finally expected to get rid of the home button altogether. This could mean the device finally gets Face ID.
But don’t get too excited about the Dynamic Island, as rumors say Apple might stick with a notch design.

The iPhone SE 4 is expected to retain its distinctive single rear camera. However, this camera will undergo significant internal enhancements, enabling users to capture high-quality photographs and videos.
It is anticipated to feature a single 48-megapixel camera, representing a substantial upgrade over the 12-megapixel camera sensor employed in the previous generation model.
Beneath the hood, the iPhone SE 4 is anticipated to be powered by Apple’s A18 chip. Reports suggest that the iPhone SE 4 may utilise the same chipset, which has been employed in the iPhone 16 series.
If these rumors materialise, the iPhone SE 4, despite its lower price point compared to other iPhone models, will possess the same chipset as the flagship iPhone 16 series.
