Jasa Marga Offers 10 Percent Toll Discount for Nataru Return Traffic

Jakarta, VIVA – Jasa Marga (JSMR) will once again offer a 10 percent toll discount, applicable on the Trans Java Toll Road during the return flow of the Christmas and New Year holidays.

Corporate Communication and Community Development Group Head of JSMR, Lisye Octaviana, stated that the 10 percent toll discount will be implemented from December 28, 2024, at 5 AM, until December 29, 2024, at 5 AM.

"This will apply for continuous return trips from Semarang to Jakarta (starting from Kalikangkung Toll Gate to Cikampek Utama Toll Gate)," Octaviana said on Friday (December 27).

She also reminded that the peak of the 2024 Christmas return traffic is predicted to occur on Sunday December 29.

Therefore, Jasa Marga advises road users to plan their return trips to the Greater Jakarta area accordingly.

"This is to avoid a surge in traffic volume that may occur during the peak of the return flow," she remarked.



Octaviana suggested that road users with flexible schedules could adjust their travel times to avoid congestion, especially during the preferred travel times such as late afternoon to evening.

Additionally, she emphasized that Jasa Marga urges toll road users to prepare well for the 2024-2025 holiday travel period.

Before entering the toll road, ensure that both the vehicle and driver are in good condition, check fuel levels, electronic toll balance, and obey traffic signs as well as directions from field officers.

"Jasa Marga also advises road users to anticipate potential traffic management measures implemented at the discretion of the police," she concluded.
