Jakarta, VIVA – Chief Executive Officer of Bakrie & Brothers (BNBR), Anindya Novyan Bakrie, received an award from the UK Embassy during the Award Ceremony celebrating 75 years of UK-Indonesia diplomatic relations.
Bakrie was honored in the Prosperity category, recognizing individuals who have contributed to a more prosperous future for both the UK and Indonesia.
This prosperity encompasses efforts to strengthen business ties between the two nations, increase trade and investment flows, and advocate for good governance and regulatory reforms.

“We were given this award because, over the past five years, we have been actively engaged with the UK, particularly in renewable energy and electric vehicle businesses,” Bakrie said on Wednesday (Dec 11).
Beyond business, Bakrie highlighted the collaboration with the UK in the fields of sports and education.
“Secondly, in sports, Oxford United now has Marselino playing there. Thirdly, we are also active in philanthropy, particularly in education. So, thank you for the trust and honor,” he concluded.
