Jakarta, VIVA – The Chairman of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin), Anindya Bakrie, stated that investors currently believe President Prabowo Subianto will uphold the rule of law in his administration.
"In my observation, there is one key point that I see, friends. We should be proud of our capital market," Bakrie said on Thursday (Dec 5).
He added, "One thing people believe in isn't just his communication skills, but it seems they are quite confident that President Prabowo will uphold the rule of law. This is something that should truly be emphasized,"
According to Bakrie, with the rule of law in place, the business community is urged to avoid any improper actions.
"So, the rule of law applies across all areas. For us in the business world, let’s just focus on conducting good and ethical business," Bakrie remarked.
Furthermore, Bakrie stated that with the rule of law, investors’ funds will be secure if placed in Indonesia.
"But capital market players, investors, and even foreign direct investors (FDI) can trust that, to put it simply, in one sentence: your money is safe here, your money is safe here," he concluded.
