VIVA – Kurniawan, the Head of Gerakan Cinta Prabowo (Movement of support for Prabowo) Volunteers, stated that the Indonesian President, Prabowo Subianto, must collaborate with the government, society, and the private sector to achieve sustainable food security. He stressed that Prabowo cannot achieve the vision of a "Golden Indonesia 2045" without the support of all stakeholders.
"The food security program proposed by Mr. Prabowo requires cooperation from various sectors. GCP is ready to visit the regions and work with different stakeholders to achieve these goals," Kurniawan said on Monday, November 11, 2024.
He expressed his commitment to supporting President Prabowo’s programs to create a clean bureaucracy, provide free nutritious food, and strengthen food security throughout Indonesia.
He also mentioned that GCP volunteers, from 38 provinces, are prepared to assist directly in the field, particularly with the initiative to ensure Indonesian children have access to nutritious food.
“We are fully committed to supporting the nutritious food program, which aims to ensure that Indonesian children receive the proper nutrition to be competitive in the future,” Kurniawan added.
Kurniawan also pointed out Bogor's potential to contribute to national food security, particularly through vegetable production. He believes this opportunity can support the success of Prabowo’s food security initiatives in the first 100 days of his governance.
“The climate in Bogor is very favorable for vegetable farming. We see opportunities to collaborate with PT Perkebunan Nusantara and Perhutani to optimize the area for agricultural purposes,” he explained.
The GCP 2024-2025 National Working Meeting was attended by dignitaries, including Lethen Ali Kobra as a Special Staff of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Tatang Jainudin as a Major General of Indonesian National Army, the Mayor of Bogor, the Vice of Secretary General of the Gerindra Party, and Prof. Pramono Hermawan as a legal expert.
During the event, the participants agreed to strengthen their support for Prabowo's vision of realizing a more advanced, healthy, and prosperous Indonesia in the future.
GCP emphasized its commitment to monitoring the government’s progress in achieving sustainable food security and providing nutritious food for all Indonesian children, as part of the broader effort to realize a more independent and competitive "Golden Indonesia 2045."
