"I see programs that appear ready to be launched, such as the debt cancellation for 6 million loans held by fishermen and farmers. I think it's a good initiative, as it can free them and even allow them to continue their businesses," Bakrie said on Saturday (Nov 2).
Earlier, the Chairman of the Financial Services Authority (OJK), Mahendra Siregar, revealed that the Ministry of Finance is currently preparing regulations to cancel the debts of farmers and fishermen held by banks. This cancellation plan is a directive from President Prabowo Subianto.
