Tangerang, VIVA – The Indonesia Motorcycle Show (IMOS) officially opened and will run until November 3, 2024, at ICE BSD, South Tangerang.
Johannes Loman, the Chairman of AISI, revealed that motorcycle sales in Indonesia reached 4.87 million units from January to September 2024, marking a growth of around 3.19 percent compared to last year.

Loman hopes that automotive shows like IMOS can help sustain motorcycle sales figures.
“The hope is that IMOS can serve as a stimulus to maintain the momentum of motorcycle sales post-pandemic,” he added.
In the same event, Deputy Minister of Industry Faisol Riza praised the rise in motorcycle sales in Indonesia.
“We know the global economy is facing challenges. We must remain cautious, as this situation can impact people’s purchasing power,” Riza remarked.
