President Prabowo Inaugurated 7 Special Presidential Envoys

Jakarta, VIVA – Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto inaugurated seven special presidential envoys at the State Palace, Jakarta, on Tuesday (Oct 22).
The inauguration was based on Presidential Decree Number 76/M of 2024 concerning the Appointment of Special Presidential Envoys of the Republic of Indonesia for 2024-2029, stipulated in Jakarta on October 21, 2024, by President Prabowo Subianto.
The following are the seven special presidential envoys inaugurated by Prabowo:
1. Muhamad Mardiono as Special Presidential Envoy for Food Security.
2. Setiawan Ichlas as Special Presidential Envoy for Economics and Banking.
3. Miftah Maulana Habiburrahman (Gus Miftah) as Special Presidential Envoy for Religious Harmony and Development of Religious Facilities.
4. Raffi Farid Ahmad as Special Presidential Envoy for the Development of the Young Generation and Artists.
5. Ahmad Ridha Sabana as Special Presidential Envoy for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises, Creative Economy, and Digital.
6. Mari Elka Pangestu as Special Presidential Envoy for International Trade and Multilateral Cooperation.
7. Zita Anjani as Special Presidential Envoy for Tourism.
Earlier, Indonesia's 7th President Joko Widodo stipulated Presidential Regulation Number 137 of 2024 concerning the Presidential Special Advisor, Presidential Special Envoy, Presidential Special Staff, and Vice Presidential Special Staff.
Widodo signed the stipulation of the presidential regulation on October 18, 2024, as quoted from Antara site.
The presidential regulation regulates the existence of the presidential special advisor, presidential special envoy, presidential special staff, and vice presidential special staff.
The presidential special advisor and presidential special envoy positions were formed to support the president's duties.
Both carry out certain tasks assigned by the president, excluding those covered in the organizational structure of ministries and other government agencies.
Earlier, on Monday (October 21), Prabowo also officiated 48 ministers and 55 deputy ministers of the Red and White Cabinet for the 2024-2029 Period at the Merdeka Palace, Jakarta.
