Mercedes S-Class Becomes Official Vehicle for Inauguration Day

Jakarta, VIVA – The manufacturer of Germany Mercedes-Benz, is taking part in the inauguration of the President and Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia for the 2024-2029 term, which will be held on Sunday (Oct 20).
For this event, Mercedes-Benz is providing 60 units of its S-Class model to serve as the official vehicles for international dignitaries.
Inchcape Indomobil Distribution Indonesia, which manages Mercedes-Benz in Indonesia, handed over the vehicles to the government through the Ministry of State Secretariat.
The handover was conducted by the Secretary of the Ministry alongside Roelof Lamberts, the CEO of Inchcape Indomobil Distribution Indonesia.
Eka Denny Mansjur, Secretary of the Ministry, expressed appreciation to Inchcape Indomobil for providing vehicles with high safety and comfort standards.
"We expresed our gratitude for the support of Mercedes-Benz vehicles, which will be used as official cars for heads of state or government during various important state events organized by the Indonesian government," he said in an official statement.
Mansjur also ensured that the management of the Mercedes-Benz S-Class vehicles would follow the highest standards, including comprehensive insurance coverage and drivers from the Presidential Security Force.
"We hope that this collaboration will enhance public trust in the use of Mercedes-Benz in Indonesia," Mansjur added.
Roelof Lamberts, CEO of Inchcape Indomobil Distribution Indonesia, expressed pride in being trusted to supply vehicles for a state event such as the Presidential Inauguration.
"The Presidential Inauguration is a historic moment for the Indonesian nation, and Mercedes-Benz is proud to once again support and participate in this historic event," Lamberts stated.
He added, "Especially in October 2024, we're celebrating 54 years of our presence in Indonesia,"
Lamberts emphasized that this support reflects Inchcape Indomobil's commitment to ensuring the safety and comfort of the nation's leaders, as well as a tangible contribution to Indonesia.
