Pertamina Patra Niaga Upholds Workplace Safety as Top Priority in Operations

Jakarta, VIVA – Pertamina Patra Niaga reaffirms its commitment to ensuring the continued implementation of Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE) aspects as a core priority in its operations.
Eduward Adolof Kawi, Director of Engineering and Land Infrastructure at Pertamina Patra Niaga, confirmed that the company will strengthen safety and health programs to maintain and improve its existing standards.
"Safety is always our top priority, and we will continue innovating to create a safer and healthier work environment," Kawi stated.
This commitment has led Pertamina Patra Niaga to achieve five awards at the 2024 Oil and Gas Safety Awards from the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, including four Patra Nirbhaya Karya Utama awards and one Patra Prakarsa award.
The Patra Nirbhaya Karya Utama award for No Loss of Working Hours Due to Accidents was awarded to Pertamina Patra Niaga's Northern Sumatra, Kalimantan, Sulawesi, and Papua Maluku regions.
Kawi emphasized that these achievements reflect the company’s dedication to prioritizing safety in every aspect of its operations.
Additionally, Pertamina Patra Niaga Northern Sumatra received the Patra Prakarsa award for its contribution to enhancing worker health and safety.
According to Kawi, these awards are a testament to Pertamina Patra Niaga’s commitment to ensuring workplace safety and health across all aspects of its operations.
"The implementation of the HSSE system is not merely compliance with regulations but part of Pertamina Patra Niaga's work culture. These awards motivate us to continue raising safety standards," he concluded.
