Kadin Ready to Assist Government in Trade Supply Chain Recovery
- VIVA
Bekasi, VIVA – The Chairman of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin), Anindya Novyan Bakrie, has promised to find solutions to restore the trade supply chain.
He said this after visiting the Kadin Market Festival at Pasar Baru Bekasi, Bekasi City, West Java, on Thursday (Sept 26).
Initially, Bakrie addressed concerns raised by traders regarding the declining purchasing power of the public.
He also stated that the prices of some basic commodities had increased.
“We can see that purchasing power has slightly decreased, and some prices have gone up,” Bakrie remarked.
He urged traders to have to be patient and optimistic, assuring them that purchasing power would eventually improve.
He then acknowledged the concerns expressed by the traders.
“But we encourage them to stay optimistic and patient. Keep up the spirit for the traders. I understand that sometimes prices go up, and purchasing power goes down,” Bakrie stated.
Kadin will continue to work on finding solutions to support traders so that the trade supply chain can recover.
“We will also certainly coordinate as a strategic partner of the government to help ensure that the supply chain flows smoothly,” he concluded.
