Minister Uno Assures Completion of 2024 Mandalika MotoGP Hosting Fee

Lombok, VIVA – Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy, Sandiaga Uno, has confirmed that the hosting fee for the 2024 Mandalika MotoGP will be fully settled. This follows a remaining balance of IDR 121 billion.
The completion of the payment will be handled by the consortium and the Indonesia Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC), which manages multiple events.
"It can be handled by the consortium, and ITDC has several other events, so don't worry, there are no issues. Everything has been planned and will be resolved," the minister said at Terminal 3, Soekarno-Hatta Airport, Tangerang.
As known, the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy and state-owned enterprises (SOEs) are working together to allocate funds to pay the Mandalika MotoGP hosting fee.
They have requested IDR 110 billion out of the total IDR 231 billion.
Hundreds of billions are also allocated for the activation of Wonderful Indonesia and promotional activities, including ticket sales.
The target is to sell 100,000 tickets for the 2024 MotoGP.
"We hope, the target of 100,000 tickets sold will be achieved," he concluded.
