This is in accordance with the Indonesian Minister of Transportation's Decision No. KM 22 of 2024 regarding Guidelines for the Broadcasting of Maritime Safety Information (MSI).

In addition, the MCC conducts daily Regional Data Center (RDC) meetings online, covering the Eastern, Central, and Western regions.

It also produces reports on navigational warnings, Search and Rescue (SAR) information, and other related safety information for ships.

“The MCC also provides data and information for monitoring, surveillance, security, and maritime safety, as well as environmental protection in Indonesian waters," he said.

He continued, "It also identifies and detects the presence and movement of ships in real-time in both Indonesian and international waters for Indonesian-flagged vessels,”

The MCC also executes communication and reporting procedures during emergencies.

Furthermore, the MCC has coordinated the broadcasting of Maritime Safety Information and is integrated with Coastal Radio Stations (SROP), Vessel Traffic Services (VTS), and NAVTEX Stations under the Directorate General of Sea Transportation across Indonesia.

The MCC is also integrated with data from various applications, agencies, ministries, or other institutions, such as the Automatic Identification System (AIS) for ship monitoring, including Satellite AIS and Terrestrial AIS, which can be accessed via the I-Motion app or website and AIS Live, as well as Long-Range Identification and Tracking (LRIT) systems.
