Jakarta, VIVA – Chairman of the APEC Business Advisory Council (ABAC) Indonesia, Anindya Novyan Bakrie stated that the appointment of Prabowo Subianto as President and Gibran Rakabuming Raka as Vice President marks a new era of leadership.
He expressed hope that the Prabowo-Gibran era will bring significant changes to the management of Indonesia's economy.
"The Prabowo-Gibran administration is expected to introduce a new perspective focused on enhancing national economic competitiveness, improving regulations, and empowering the business sector to create a healthier and more dynamic business ecosystem," Bakrie said in his speech at the Future of Indonesia Dialogue organized by ABAC on Friday (August 31).
Bakrie explained that with a commitment to strengthening the national economic foundation, this new leadership has the potential to be a driving force in creating sustainable and inclusive economic growth.
"Amid global economic challenges and changing geopolitical landscapes, Indonesia has the opportunity to strengthen its position as one of the world's major economic powers," he stated.
In this regard, support from the business community is a crucial element in realizing the vision of the new government, which focuses on increasing investment, developing industries, and accelerating digital transformation.
