All-electric MPV BYD M6 Makes Its First Debut in Indonesia

Jakarta – Automaker from China, Build Your Dreams (BYD) has launched the all-electric MPV, the BYD M6 at the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show or GIIAS 2024 at ICE BSD, Tangerang.
It's marking a significant milestone as it is not only BYD's first MPV model released for the Indonesian market but also the first all-electric MPV to be introduced in Indonesia.
As a new product, the BYD M6 is offered in three variants: Standard, Super Captain, and Superior. The prices for this vehicle are considered quite affordable for the MPV segment.
This electric car is sold at prices ranging from IDR 379 million to IDR 429 million.

Eagle Zhou, President Director of BYD Motor Indonesia, stated that Indonesia is the first place for the global launch of the BYD M6.
"We were launching the BYD M6 for the first time globally in Indonesia, coinciding with the GIIAS 2024 event," he said at ICE BSD, Tangerang.
The BYD M6 has a stylish and modern appearance, prioritizing passenger comfort. This electric car has a 7-seater capacity with ample trunk space for various family needs.
Furthermore, the BYD M6 is equipped with a variety of safety features such as ABS braking system with EBD, electronic stability control (ESC), and 6 airbags.
Then, this electric MPV offers two battery options. The first option is a 71.8 kWh battery capable of a 530 km range. The other battery option has a capacity of 55.4 kWh and can travel up to 420 km.
