Freeport Provides Full Support to Indonesian Athletes for 2024 Paris Olympics

Jakarta – Freeport Indonesia (PTFI) is providing support for the Indonesian team competing in the 2024 Paris Olympics in the form of sponsorship funds, which are expected to boost the athletes' spirits and help them achieve the best possible results.
“PTFI's support is a manifestation of the company's commitment to advancing sports in Indonesia,” said Tony Wenas at the Ministry of Youth and Sports building on Wednesday (July 10).
Wenas hopes that PTFI's support will serve as a motivation for Indonesian athletes competing to achieve the best results for the red and white flag.
The inauguration of the Indonesian contingent was marked by the handing over of the Indonesian flag from the Minister of Youth and Sports, Dito Ariotedjo, to the Chef de Mission (CdM) of the Indonesian Contingent, Anindya Novyan Bakrie.
At the 2024 Paris Olympics, 29 athletes from 12 sports disciplines will represent Indonesia in the event, which will be held from July 26 to August 11, 2024.
Meanwhile, the CdM of the Indonesian Contingent, Anindya Bakrie, appreciated PTFI's support for the Indonesian team competing in the 2024 Paris Olympics.
“We warmly welcome Freeport Indonesia's full support for the athletes who will compete in the Paris Olympics. This support adds spirit and ignites the fighting spirit for the nation and the country,” he stated.
