Jakarta – Indonesian Transportation Minister, Budi Karya Sumadi congratulated the extended family of the National Police at the commemoration of the 78th Anniversary of the National Police Day (Bhayangkara Day).
The minister expressed a hope that the Indonesian National Police will continue to enhance their integrity as trustworthy and commendable law enforcers for all Indonesian citizens.
"Happy 78th Bhayangkara Day to the Indonesian National Police. May the police continue to uphold their integrity as trustworthy and commendable law enforcers in our homeland," Minister Sumadi said in a statement on June 30.
Minister Sumadi also emphasized the important role of the Indonesian police as protectors of the community.
He hopes that the Indonesian police can continue to be a solid working partner for the Ministry of Transportation in supporting the progress of the nation and the country.

"Continue to be protectors of the community and solid working partners of the Ministry of Transportation for the progress of the nation and country," he remarked.
On the same occasion, Minister Sumadi highlighted the success of the Precise Indonesian Police, which achieved a public satisfaction rate of 73.1 percent. This figure increased compared to December 2023, which was 71.6 percent.
This also shows a positive response to the efforts of the Indonesian police in improving the quality of their services and performance in maintaining public security and order.
This year's commemoration of the 78th Bhayangkara Day underscores the commitment of the police to maintaining integrity, professionalism, and dedication in serving the community and the country.
This spirit is expected to strengthen public trust and accelerate economic transformation to realize the vision of an inclusive and sustainable Golden Indonesia.
