Jakarta – Bakrie Amanah donated 157 sacrificial animals during the celebration of Eid al-Adha 2024 to 19 provinces across Indonesia.
Teguh Anantawikrama, the Vice Chairman of Bakrie Amanah, stated that the sacrifice program by the Bakrie business group in 2024 reached 37 cities/regencies across 19 provinces, distributed over 52 slaughter points in Indonesia. This effort benefited a total of 14,100 recipients.
“We officially distributed 78 cows and 79 goats or sheep across 52 points in 19 provinces in Indonesia,” Anantawikrama said in a statement on Tuesday (June 18).
With the theme 'Sharing Sacrifices, Sharing Happiness,' he hopes that Bakrie Amanah can bring joy to all the people who receive the sacrificial meat.
Additionally, this moment is hoped to serve as a reminder of the blessings from Allah that have been entrusted to all of us.
“Our hope is that with this sacrificial event, we will be reminded of the extraordinary blessings from Allah that we are experiencing now,” he remarked.
Besides performing the usual sacrificial slaughter, Bakrie Amanah also carried out a different packaging method for the sacrificial meat, which is canning.
The canning of the sacrificial meat aims to make the meat more durable and distributable to a wider range of areas, especially regions affected by natural disasters or those that are difficult to access.
“The special feature we offer is that we preserve the meat in cans, so it can be stored for a longer period. By canning, the meat can be utilized for a longer time,” Anantawikrama concluded.
