Indonesia, Turkiye Committed to Strengthening Employment Cooperation

Geneva – Indonesian minister of Manpower, Ida Fauziyah met the Minister of Manpower and Social Security Turkiye, Vedat Isikhan in a bilateral meeting on the sidelines of the International Labor Conference in Geneva.
This meeting discussed various strategic steps to strengthen cooperation in employment sector between the two countries.
Minister Fauziyah expressed her appreciation for the cooperation that has been established in various international forums such as the G20 and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).
"This collaboration has helped advocate for shared interests and address global employment issues," the Minister said in a statement on Thusday (June 6).
In this meeting, Minister Fauziyah also said that the importance of the immediate implementation of the action plan outlined in the cooperation agreement signed in Baku before. It served as a foundation for upcoming joint initiatives.

"Renewing last year's agreement demonstrates our commitment to working more closely together in facing challenges in the labor sector," the minister remarked.
The scope of cooperation within the MoU covers several important areas, including labor relations, labor regulations, human resource (HR) development, occupational safety and health, and ensuring safe and orderly employment.
"We were committed to improving harmonious labor relations, strengthening labor regulations, developing competent Human Resources, and ensuring occupational safety and health for all workers,"
Both countries agreed to take concrete steps immediately to ensure that this cooperation yields tangible benefits for both nations.
"Close cooperation between Indonesia and Turkiye in the field of labor will continue and bring positive benefits to the people of both countries," Minister Fauziyah said.
With this meeting, Indonesia and Turkiye have further strengthened their commitment to collaborate in addressing various labor challenges in the future.
