Kalimantan – Indonesian President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) stated that land prices in the new capital, IKN Nusantara, are still affordable. However, these prices could increase as the development project progresses.
As a reference, land prices in IKN Nusantara range from approximately IDR 400,000 to IDR 800,000 per square meter.
"These prices can change depending on the Head of the IKN Authority. If there's high demand, the prices will naturally rise," said the President in IKN, Penajam Paser Utara, East Kalimantan on Tuesday (June 4).
The Head of State also encouraged investors to put investment in IKN Nusantara.
"Investing in IKN Nusantara is an investment in the future," President Jokowi remarked.
He also emphasized the current challenge, which is that the Balikpapan-IKN Nusantara toll road has not yet been completed. As a result, travel time to IKN Nusantara still takes several hours.
Moreover, once transportation access facilities such as airports are completed, they will significantly reduce travel time to IKN.
