Visit Indonesia, Elon Musk to Launch Starlink in Bali

Bali – SpaceX CEO Elon Musk arrived in Bali this morning and to launch the Starlink internet service at a health center in Denpasar City with Indonesian President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) and the Health Ministry.
Sumerta local Health Center is one of the health services in Bali that cooperates with Starlink.
Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment, Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan said that the Starlink launch will be attended by President Jokowi and several Ministers.
“After Elon Musk's arrival, we will launch Starlink with some of our ministers; Minister of Health, Minister of Communication and Information, and Minister of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries,” said Minister Pandjaitan at Bali Turtle Island Development (BTID), Denpasar, during the Segara Kerthi event on Saturday (May 18).

“This is a good step so that our remote areas can be reached by good internet and this will be good for health and education,” the Minister remarked.
The Starlink launch agenda at Sumerta local health center includes ultrasound services for pregnant women and immunization services.
The founder of Tesla and SpaceX is also scheduled to be the keynote speaker at the 10th World Water Forum (WWF) in Bali on Monday (May 20).
Afterwards, Elon Musk is scheduled to meet with President Joko Widodo.
