Jakarta – American automotive manufacturer Harley-Davidson officially launched five new products for the Indonesian market. They are Street Glide, Road Glide, Heritage Classic 114, Low Rider ST, and Ultra Limited Tobacco Fade.
Irvino Edwardly as Sales & Marketing Director of JLM Auto Indonesia as the official distributor of Harley-Davidson revealed that the five latest big motorcycles are superior products that have been awaited by consumers for a long time.
“On this occasion, we present and display superior products that may have been highly sought after, and awaited by consumers,” Edwardly said at Senayan City, Jakarta.
He remarked that the 2024 Road Glide and Street Glide variants were very different products compared to the previous variants.
“There are 5 superior products. For Road Glide and Street Glide it becomes truly All-New, so a totally different variant than the previous variant,” Edwardly stated.
Both models are more powerful, lighter and more dynamic, and feature new visual design elements. Both also have an evolved fairing profile that looks modern and refreshing while still maintaining Harley-Davidson's design DNA.
The Road Glide and Street Glide share similar features, starting with the updated Milwaukee-Eight 117 V-Twin engine with a new cooling system, to optimize thermal comfort for the rider, and better intake and exhaust airflow to improve performance.
The redesigned one-piece seat shape and cushioning materials offer a significant improvement in long-distance riding comfort for most riders.
Then the next model is the Heritage Classic 114, this classic American cruiser bike offers vintage details and will be available with two trim options, namely Chrome and Black.
He said that this variant of the big bike is one that has been on hiatus in Indonesia for a long time.
“The Heritage Classic is a model that has been on hiatus in Indonesia for quite some time. And we present it again for Harley Davidson lovers in the country,” Edwardly said.
The Heritage Classic 114 features a powertrain with Wrinkle Black upper rocker cover, camshaft cover, transmission cover, and main cover, with contrasting Gloss Black lower rocker cover.
Trim details include Gloss Black taillights, windshield brackets, headlights and turn signals, Black mirrors and triple clamps, Black Anodized wheel hubs and hub caps, and Matte Black exhaust guards with Chrome exhaust tips.
Next, the Tobacco Fade Enthusiast Motorcycle Collection which is specialized as a collectible motorcycle.
The Tobacco Fade paint scheme and graphics are inspired by the classic sunburst wood finish. Harley-Davidson claims that this model is only available in limited quantities, no more than 2,000 units per model.
Rich caramel-colored stripes accent the metallic gold panel color that floats beyond the fade.
The fuel tank medallion is inspired by the shape and curves of vinyl records, while the graphics on the front fender, shaped like a guitar pick, are inspired by rock band logos and instruments.
Then there's the Low Rider ST, an American V-Twin-engined sport touring line for riders who love West Coast style, which adopts a sleek motorcycle body and craves the high performance of the Milwaukee-Eight 117 V-Twin powertrain.
The Low Rider ST model connects these riders to the pure Harley-Davidson attitude. Mechanical features are identical to the 2024 Low Rider ST model.
