Indonesia Sends Representatives to 2024 Parkour World Cup in France

Jakarta – For the first time, Indonesia will participate in the biggest single parkour event under the banner of the Federation Internationale de Gymnastique (FIG), namely the Parkour World Cup 2024.
This was confirmed by the Chairman of the Executive Board of the All Indonesian Gymnastics Association ( PB Persani ), or usually called Gymnastics Indonesia, Ita Yuliati.
Yuliati said that Gymnastics Indonesia would send one athlete, namely Lutfhi Rahman Zuhdi, accompanied by a coach, Ramdani Murthado.
The 2024 Parkour World Cup is planned to be held in Montpellier, France, on May 10-12.

"This is a form of realization of my promise to send talented Indonesian participants to the Parkour Asian Tour 2023 Jakarta Series, who were selected directly by Charles Perriere (founder of Parkour)," said Ita Yuliati when releasing the Indonesian Parkour Gymnastics Team in Jakarta on Monday (May 13).
"We originally wanted to send representatives to the next series in Thailand, but the President of FIG, Morinari Watanabe, suggested just the World Cup, so now is the right moment to send representatives from Indonesia and the first ASEAN participants to take part in this year's World Cup," she remarked.
Yuliati hopes that Lutfhi Rahman Zuhdi and Ramdani Murthado's participation in the 2024 Parkour World Cup can have a positive impact.
Considering that this is a prestigious event attended by athletes from all over the world, the 2024 Parkour World Cup could be a moment to gain new experience and knowledge for Indonesian parkour.
"Feel the experience. Don't be overwhelmed. I hope your experience can be shared with all of us, especially parkour friends in Indonesia," she stated.
"In the future, we also plan to organize a Parkour Tour de Java because we already have the tools and this must be maximized," she continued.
As information, Lutfhi Rahman Zuhdi will compete in the men's speed number. Previously, he was the Brick Parkour Asian Tour 2023 Jakarta Series champion in the same category.
"Quite nervous because this is our first international experience as representatives of Indonesia," Zuhdi said in the same occasion.
"We're grateful to Gymnastics Indonesia for giving us the opportunity, and hopefully we can carry out this mandate well to bring the name Red and White to the world stage," he concluded.
