Jakarta – The Indonesian Elected President Prabowo Subianto conveyed his greetings on Labor Day, which falls on May 1.

Subianto wishes for all workers, including laborers, to become increasingly united and prosperous.

"I, Prabowo Subianto, said my congratulations on National Labor Day. May all workers in Indonesia and the larger labor community continue to progress, become more prosperous, and unite more closely to strive together towards a golden Indonesia," Subianto said through a video statement on Wednesday.

Prabowo Subianto then invited all citizens, including laborers, to participate in building a glorious future by realizing a golden Indonesia.

"Let us build a better future for all Indonesian citizens, all workers, all laborers, and their families so that our children and grandchildren can experience an even greater golden Indonesia," he remarked.

It's known that a coalition of labor unions plans to hold a large-scale demonstration in the area around the State Palace, Jakarta, to commemorate International Labor Day (May Day) on Wednesday, May 1.

In addition to Jakarta, several other regions are also holding Labor Day commemorations, such as Bangka Belitung conducting rapid and precise activities, Purwakarta Regency organizing social service activities, and Pekalongan hosting a tripartite sports event.
