Designed to serve large groups of people attending weddings or exhibitions at the state-of-the-art convention center, this marvel of design and engineering measures 25.78 square meters and offers panoramic views of the complex and its gardens.

Due to its enormous size, the world's largest passenger elevator or lift relies on an innovative pulley beam system consisting of 18 large pulleys, 9 steel cables and rails mounted on steel columns.

While it only moves between five floors, at a speed of one meter per second, the record-breaking elevator is also equipped with two comfortable sofas for resting.

"We are proud to announce that the world's largest lift is made by Kone, and it's in India!" said Amit Gossain, Managing Director of KONE Elevators India.

"We pride ourselves on offering tailor-made solutions for unique projects. In addition to our team in India, the company's key project experts collaborate globally to design and execute these most challenging and complex projects," he added.

KONE has not revealed the price of this custom-designed elevator, but given that it was commissioned by Reliance Industries, India's largest private company, it is very expensive.
