Car Users Now Can Use the Bocimi Toll Road, PUPR Says

Sukabumi – The Indonesian Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) ensured the Bocimi Toll Road section from Cigombong to Cibadak already be used from Yesterday (April 11).
This section is to help reduce traffic congestion during the 2024 Eid al-Fitr holiday period following emergency handling and site cleaning of the incident of subsidence at Km 64+600.
Based on the information update received from the Sukabumi District Police, the traffic flow from Bogor - Cigombong - Cibadak towards Sukabumi is currently heavy, and preparations for the opening of its functional lanes are underway.
The spokesperson for the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing, Endra S. Atmawidjaja, stated that the planned opening of this section is around 12:00 p.m. starting from the Cigombong Gate (KM 60) towards the Cibadak/Parungkuda Gate (KM 72) - Sukabumi.

"With safety considerations, only one lane at KM64+600 B will be functionally opened, with traffic management fully conducted by the Sukabumi District Police," Atmawidjaja said in a written statement on Thursday.
An open-close system will be implemented in this functional section, with operational hours under the control of the Sukabumi District Police, he continued.
This system will be implemented from 07:00 a.m. to 05:00 p.m. local time daily.
"The Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing together with Trans Jabar Tol as the Toll Road Operator will ensure the smooth operation of this functional toll road," he remarked.
"We also urge toll road users to remain cautious and always follow the instructions of the police officers in the field for safety and security," Atmawidjaja added.
He also stated that during the Eid al-Fitr holiday period, the functional toll road sections, including the Bocimi Toll Road section from Cigombong to Cibadak/Parungkuda, will not incur any charges.
