Cikampek – President Dircetor of Jasa Raharja, Rivan A Purwatono provided compensation of IDR 50 million to one heir of a traffic accident victim that happened on Jakarta-Cikampek Km 58 toll toad, some time ago.
The compensation was handed over after the West Java Regional Police DVI ( Disaster Victim Identification ) Team succeeded in identifying and knowing the identity of one of the bodies of accident victims, namely Najwa Devira, 22 years old, from Bogor, West Java.
Purwantono said that in accordance with Law Number 34 of 1964 concerning Compulsory Road Traffic Accident Insurance Funds, all accident victims are guaranteed compensation from Jasa Raharja.
"However, death compensation will be handed over to the legal heirs after the identification results come out from the Police," said Rivan after holding a conference at the DVI Command Post at Karawang Regional Hospital, on Tuesday.
He remarked that of the 12 victims who died, so far only one victim has been identified and verified.
