20 Percent Toll Discount for Eid Homecoming Travelers

Jakarta – Indonesian Minister Coordinator for Human Development and Culture, Muhadjir Effendy announced a 20 percent toll tariff discount for Eid Homecoming travelers this year.
The discount will be valid for three days, starting from April 3 to April 5, 2024.
"The Eid homecoming flow will begin on April 3-5, 2024, at 5 a.m. local time. The return flow will start on April 16-19, 2024, at 5 a.m. local time," Minister Effendy said in a statement on Tuesday (April 2).

Not only that, the Minister also conveyed that they will provide discounts for non-Java toll gates (outside Java). The discount will be valid for 17 days from April 5-19, 2024.
Minister Effendy further explained that the discount offered is a 20 percent reduction from the normal tariff applicable on the main routes of the homecoming and return trips.
The tariff reduction applies at the main entrance/exit gates of Cikampek Utama Toll Gate and Kalikangkung Toll Gate. Meanwhile, the toll roads covered are Palimanan-Kanci, Semarang-Batang, and Jakarta-Cikampek.
He also emphasized that the policy of implementing toll tariff discounts on long-distance routes is because 41 percent of travelers use these routes.
He hopes that with the implementation of this toll tariff discount, it can reduce traffic congestion during the homecoming and return periods.
"I express appreciation to Jasa Marga, BPJT (Toll Road Regulatory Agency), and BUJT (Toll Road Business Entity) for the policy of providing toll tariff discounts," the Minister concluded.
