3 Indonesian Representatives Played in the 2024 Swiss Open Final

Basel – Three Indonesian representatives advanced to the final round of the 2024 Swiss Open after defeating their respective opponents on last Saturday. They were; the women's singles Gregoria Mariska Tunjung, Men's doubles Bagas Maulana/Muhammad Shohibul Fikri, and Women's doubles Lanny Tria Mayasari/Ribka Sugiarto.
Gregoria Mariska Tunjung continued her progress to the final round of the Swiss Open 2024 after winning her semifinal match over Japanese player Nozomi Okuhara.
Men's doubles Bagas Maulana/Muhammad Shohibul Fikri secured a place in the final round after defeating their compatriots, Leo Rolly Carnando/Daniel Marthin.
Meanwhile, the women's doubles Lanny Tria Mayasari/Ribka Sugiarto advanced to the final after defeating their compatriots, Apriyani Rahayu/Siti Fadia Silva Ramadhanti.
Gregoria, who was seeded second in this tournament, won over Okuhara in two straight games, 21-15, 21-17 in 45 minutes.
Meanwhile, the pair Bagas Maulana/Muhammad Shohibul Fikri beat their compatriots, Leo Rolly Carnando/Daniel Marthin 21-19, 21-15.
Then, women's doubles Lanny Tria Mayasari/Ribka Sugiarto defeated their compatriots, Apriyani Rahayu/Siti Fadia Silva Ramadhanti to advance to the final.
Lanny/Ribka won over the first seed through a rubber game 13-21, 21-10, 23-21 in 74 minutes.
