The Malaysian investor delegation's visit to the nation's capital is said to have resulted in significant progress.

Wicaksono explained that two foreign companies from Malaysia, IJM and Maxim are currently in the process as potential initiators in the government and business entity cooperation (PPP) scheme in the residential sector.

In fact, the two companies have reached the feasibility study finalization stage which places them as foreign companies with the leading progress in the PPP scheme.

After IJM and Maxim, there is also Limkokwing University which plans to invest in the higher education sector to support the education ecosystem in IKN Nusantara.

On the same occasion, Malaysian Ambassador Dato' Syed Md Hasrin Tengku Hussin expressed his admiration for the progress of the IKN development which he said was taking place quickly in accordance with the direction of President Joko Widodo (Jokowi).

Dato' Syed Md Hasrin Tengku Hussin hopes that other Malaysian companies, especially those from Sabah and Sarawak can take advantage of investment opportunities in IKN Nusantara and share experiences.

So, this step is expected to simultaneously contribute to strengthening relations between the two countries given Malaysia's proximity to Indonesia as a neighboring country.

In addition to visiting potential locations for investment, the delegation of the Malaysian Ambassador to Indonesia also visited the area designated as a diplomatic complex at IKN Nusantara.

The area will later be used as the location of the Embassies of various foreign countries in the IKN Nusantara.
