Prabowo-Gibran Become New Indonesian Leaders for Next 5 Years

Jakarta – The Presidential-Vice Presidential candidate pair number 2, Prabowo Subianto and Gibran Rakabuming Raka are officially become new President and Vice President for 2024 until 2029. This was announced by General Election Commission (KPU) based the result vote.
"Stipulating the results of the General Election for President and Vice President based on the minutes number 218/PL.01.08.-BA/05/2024 in the 2024 General Election," said KPU Chairman Hasyim Asy'ari, reading out the results of the 2024 General Election, on Wednesday.
From the recapitulation of the 2024 election results, Prabowo-Gibran won 96,214,691 votes or 58.83 percent. Then, followed by Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar in second place.
Anies-Muhaimin received 40,971,906 votes or 25.05 percent. Finally, Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud MD with 27,040,878 votes or 16.53 percent.
The KPU’s recapitulation results showed that Prabowo-Gibran won in 36 regions with Anies-Muhaimin winning in the remaining two regions.
As information, Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Rakahad already claimed victory in the election after unofficial vote counts showed them with a significant lead over their rivals.
