Shenzen – In Chinese society, there exists a unique cultural tradition known as the Dance Gathering Post-Dinner. This is done by most parents along with grandparents in some districts of China.

After the evening meal, people of all ages and backgrounds come together in parks, squares, or other public spaces to dance together.

"In some districts of China, there exists a cultural tradition where many elderly people dance together in the square after dinner. This is not only for exercise but also for them to converse and strengthen family bonds," said a Tour Guide during VIVA English's visit to China on Wednesday.

According to her, the elderly would play music in the square and dance together, creating a lively atmosphere.

"Many Chinese people indeed enjoy such gatherings," she remarked.

Not only do they enjoy dancing together, but some Chinese communities also enjoy drinking tea together.

"In some districts of China, they enjoy drinking tea together. Welcoming guests also involves drinking tea. They often drink tea, almost every day after dinner," she explained.
