Jakarta – The Japanese manufacturer Mazda launched its latest car for the Indonesian market, the New Mazda CX-3. The car, which falls into the SUV segment, gets a design update and several interesting features.

Ricky Thio, Managing Director of PT Eurokars Motor Indonesia said the CX-3 has become the backbone of Mazda Indonesia and contributes to nearly 35 percent of overall sales. 

"The CX-3 was first launched in 2017 and has increasingly developed into one of the important contributors to Mazda Indonesia, which contributes for nearly 35 percent of overall sales," Thio stated during the launch in Jakarta.

Seeing this enthusiasm, he hopes that the launch of the New Mazda CX-3 can be welcomed by the public and can create a new standard for the compact SUV segment.

"We hope that The New Mazda CX-3 can be welcomed well by consumers in the country and hopefully be able to create a new standard in the compact SUV segment category," said Ricky. 

The New Mazda CX-3 comes with a new appearance and some improvements to the exterior and interior. This car is also offered in two variants, namely 1.5 Sport and 2.0 Pro. 

The 1.5 Sport variant is aimed at customers who prioritize agility in driving and fuel efficiency. 

Meanwhile, the 2.0 Pro variant is for customers who want a more powerful driving experience, with more premium features. 

In the 2.0 Pro variant, getting an exterior update on the roof of the car the New Mazda CX-3 now comes with a two-tone color design, with a combination of sparkling black, thus displaying a sportier and elegant look. 

Then, there is a touch of black chrome color on the signature wing and black color on the grille, which is continuous to the inside of the headlamp.

Moving on to the interior, the New Mazda CX-3 now comes with leather seats in the 1.5 Sport variant and leather and suede combination seats in the 2.0 Pro variant.

The seat upholstery in the 2.0 Pro variant is also further enhanced with Arrow Pattern accents, to express the dynamic impression of The New Mazda CX-3. 

When compared to the previous generation, the two variants of the New CX-3 are equipped with a sunroof, auto-dimming interior mirrors, auto headlamps, and auto wipers. 

Regarding the price, the Mazda CX-3 Sport variant is marketed at IDR 399.9 million and the Pro type is priced at IDR 495.5 million. Both prices are already on the road Jakarta.
