Held Post Election, IIMS 2024 Targets IDR5.3 Trillion Transaction

Jakarta – The automotive exhibition, Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) will be held on February 15, 2024, a day after the 2024 General Election in the country.
The organizer of IIMS 2024, Dyandra Promosindo, stated that this year's event is targeted to attract more visitors and aims to accumulate transactions worth IDR 5.3 trillion throughout the event.
The 2024 General Election polling, scheduled by the General Election Commission (KPU), is set for February 14, 2024.
Then, the opening day of IIMS 2024, on February 15, 2024, is designated for a press day and VIP attendees, followed by opening to the public at 5 p.m. local time. This auto exhibition will run for 11 days until February 25.
"We have coordinated with the regulators also the JIExpo management. They said that the exhibition concurrently with elections or on the day of the election, attracting a considerable number of visitors," said Rudy MF, the Project Manager of IIMS 2024, in Jakarta, some time ago.
Rudy MF explained that this year's event will feature more participants. He also mentioned that the number of visitors is expected to increase compared to last year, along with transaction values rising from IIMS 2023, reaching IDR5.2 trillion.
"In terms of the number of brands, cars, and motorcycles, there has been an increase from last year, with a total of 187 participants exhibiting for 11 days," he stated.
"We are optimistic that this year we can reach 470 thousand visitors over the course of 11 days, and we are targeting transactions to increase to IDR5.3 trillion during the exhibition," Rudy MF added.
As information, here's the list of car brands present at IIMS 2024; Audi, BMW, BYD, Chery, Citroen, Daihatsu, Honda, Hyundai, Jaguar, Land Rover, Kia, MG, MINI, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Subaru, Suzuki, Toyota, Vinfast, Volkswagen, and Wuling.
Additionally, the motorcycle brands include: Benelli, Keeway, Honda, Italjet, Kawasaki, Peugeot Motorcycle, Piaggio Group, Royal Alloy, Royal Enfield, Scomadi, and Yamaha.
There are also electric motorcycle brands, consisting of: ALVA, Davigo, Gesits, Green Tech, Pacific, Polytron, Rakata, Selis, SMEV, United, VMove, Volta, Yadea, and ZPT.
