Russia possesses an anti-nuclear aircraft known as the Ilyushin Il-80, modified from the Ilyushin Il-86. This aircraft functions as an airborne command post with specialized communication equipment located in the canopy of the aircraft.

In the nuclear war incicdent, Russia would use this aircraft to ensure continuous command and communication lines, to launch counterattacks, or to withdraw forces. The IL-80 is capable of mid-air refueling, allowing it to remain airborne for extended periods.

2. United States

Similar to Russia, the United States also has anti-nuclear aircraft. When Vladimir Putin issued nuclear threats, the US Air Force promptly readied anti-nuclear bombs and conducted exercises in Nebraska.

The aircraft used by the United States is the Boeing 747, later modified into the Boeing E-4B. This aircraft has been part of the US fleet since the 1970s and is commonly known as Nightwatch.

The Boeing E-4B lacks windows but is equipped with special shielding to protect passengers and crew from the effects of nuclear weapons.
