14 Injured Over Multi-vehicle Crash in Puncak Bogor

Bogor – A total of 14 people were injured in a multi-vehicle accident on the Puncak Strip, Cisarua District, Bogor Regency, West Java, on Tuesday.
Angga Nugraha, Head of the Bogor Resort Police Law Enforcement Unit, said the accident involved nine vehicles, including a truck and several cars.
"There has been an accident at Puncak, an Avanza, and several angkots," he said in a video statement, on Tuesday.
Nugraha said officers had evacuated the victims and they were rushed to Dr. M. Goenawan Partowidigdo Lung Hospital (RSPG) Cisarua.

All 14 victims were injured. Police fficers are also currently evacuating the vehicles.
From residents' testimonies, the accident, which occurred at 11:00 a.m., local time was allegedly caused by the brakes of the truck carrying mineral bottled water failing. However, the police have not confirmed the cause of the accident.
Currently, the police are still conducting a crime scene investigation. There is no further information yet, Nugraha informed.
