Jakarta – The Indonesian Football Association (PSSI) is holding a competition to create a mascot for the Indonesian national team. For the main winner, a prize of IDR50 million has been prepared.
The nine best finalists in the Indonesian national team mascot competition will also receive prizes. They are given IDR1 million, an Indonesian national team jersey, and tickets to home matches for a year.
The theme of this competition is #GarudaMendunia. The period for collecting designs from the contestants starts from January 18 to February 15, 2024.
Later, the top 10 winning candidates will be announced on February 22, 2024. A week later, the judging of the selected Indonesian national team mascot will take place.
This competition can be followed by anyone and is free of charge. For those who want to submit work, it is required that they have never participated or are being contested elsewhere. Technical works are made in digital form.
In addition, there must also be a concept or description with the theme #GarudaMendunia and can be derived into various merchandise creations, such as dolls, key chains, t-shirts, and others (at least three).
Participants who submit their work in this competition are also required to include a statement of originality. If later proven unoriginal, the committee has the right to cancel the winner.
For the judging, the PSSI Chairman and the PSSI Executive Committee will be involved. PSSI will also choose professionals to be judges.
