3 Killed in Bandung Trains Collide

Bandung – The train accident between the long-distance train Turangga and the local train Baraya in Cicalengka has reportedly caused three people to leave the world.
Head of Public Relations of the West Java Regional Police, Great Commission Ibrahim Tompo, confirmed that three people died in this accident.
"So far, the data that has come in is that 3 people have died. Meanwhile, data is still being collected on injured victims," Tompo said on Friday.
Police officers were still carrying out the process of evacuating the victims and several ambulances were seen at the location.
Bandung City Police Chief, Police Commissioner Kusworo Wibowo, revealed that the incident occurred at around 6 a.m. local time. Officers are still conducting searches and evacuations.
"While we are still evacuating, it is not yet stable, so we haven't combed through everything yet, we can't be sure (there are fatalities or not)," he informed.
As information, a train accident occurred in the Cicalengka area on Friday morning.
Two trains, namely the Turangga train and the local Commuter Line train, disrupted the Haurpugur-Cicalengka road.
The accident occurred at 6:03 a.m. local time and between the two exercises are called bullfighting positions.
Ayep Hanapi, the public relations manager of Operational Area II of Kereta Api Indonesia (KAI) confirmed the train collision in Cicalengka, Bandung.
