New Model of Honda EM1 e: Electric Motorcycle Launches in Indonesia

Cikarang – Astra Honda Motor (AHM) launched the latest model of the Honda EM1 e: electric motorcycle. This latest variant is called the Honda EM1 e: Plus.
Susumu Mitsuishi, President Director of AHM said that electric motorcycle is one of the strategic steps to realize Honda's global vision of achieving carbon neutrality.
"Electric motorbikes are one effort to achieve this goal. Therefore, we present the Honda EM1 e: and Honda EM1 e: Plus electric motorbikes," Mitsuishi said at the AHM Safety Riding and Training Center, in Cikarang, on Thursday.
According to Mitsuishi, the Honda EM1 e: and EM1 e: Plus are sustainable mobility solutions designed to meet the needs of today's people, and are more environmentally friendly.
On the same occasion, Thomas Wijaya, Executive Vice President Director of AHM, said that his party understands that electric motorbikes are increasingly in demand by Indonesian people and this is not just a trend.
"We realize that more and more Indonesian people are interested in electric motorbikes, not only as a trend but also for sustainable living," Wijaya remarked.
Earlier, the Honda EM1 e: came in three colors; Innovative White, Intelligent Matte Black, and Smart Red. The Honda EM1 e: Plus launches in the newest color, namely Excellent Matte Silver.
As information, the Honda EM1 e: Plus is equipped with a rear carrier at the back, which will make it easier for the driver to carry additional items.
Regarding price, the Honda EM1 e: is priced at IDR 33 million. Meanwhile, the Honda EM1 e: Plus sells for IDR 33.5 million.
