United States to Send $200 million in Military Aid for Ukraine

United States – The United States (US) on Tuesday announced to send $200 million (IDR 3,1 trillion) in additional military aid for Ukraine, according to U.S. officials.
"The US commitment to support Ukraine against Russian aggression is unwavering," US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin said on social media X.
The aid package includes additional air defense capabilities, artillery ammunition, anti-tank weapons and other equipment to help Ukraine counter Russia, according to a statement released by the US Department of Defense.
The statement was released as Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky visited the White House to meet with his counterpart, United States President Joe Biden.
"I just signed a $200 million Defense Department drawdown for Ukraine, and it will be implemented immediately," Biden told reporters during his meeting with Zelensky in the Oval Office.
Zelensky indicated that he was pleased with the military aid.
