Although the disease is serious, all patients have been declared cured and returned to their respective homes. The patients have even been able to return to their normal activities including going to school.

The initial symptoms found when they checked themselves were almost the same as those of pneumonia in general, such as fever, cough runny nose, and mild shortness of breath.

"We got a report from the hospital, they have all recovered and the initial symptoms are the same as pneumonia in general," Rondonuwu remarked.

Furthermore, the age range of the six confirmed patients is 3-12 years old. They have all undergone laboratory tests and found the presence of Mycoplasma pneumoniae bacteria.

The Health Ministry requested samples from two patients who are still hospitalized for further investigation into this health issue.

In the future, the Ministry will conduct further examinations on the 6 recovered patients, including finding out where they went to school and their living environment.

Rondonuwu asked the public to wash their hands with soap. Those who suffer from flu and cough should wear masks.
